Conquest Crop Protection specialises in the supply of high quality crop protection products to the Australian market. Conquest has developed and gained registration approval for in excess of 120 of such products with the Agricultural and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) since the company was incorporated in early 2001. Most of these registrations have been commercialised and established as reliable, quality products. This reliability claim has been established after repeated supply into broad-acre and horticultural market segments for over 22 years.
Conquest is managed by professional crop protection people with extensive experience across the crop protection industry. This experience includes supply chain management, distribution, product formulation, quality assurance and agronomy.
Conquest products are manufactured by highly reputable formulation partners. These partners include 6 sites in Australia for the majority of supply, plus approved international supply from Thailand and China. Formulators are selected based on technical expertise, adherence to stringent quality control measures and their capability to contribute to innovation via research and development.
Conquest's in-house technical expertise is used in partnership with our formulation partners to develop products for and Australia's often unique conditions.
Products that have been registered but not commercialised are subject to rigorous lab and field evaluations. Field evaluation allows testing of formulation properties that determine spray-ability, crop safety and efficacy in Australia's often arid environment. These properties include performance in hard water, in low relative humidity, compatibility in tank mixes, dispersion rates, emulsification stability, particle size and surfactant performance.
Our philosophy is to fully utilise the expertise of our people and our chosen partners to deliver quality products by maintaining the high standards that we set.
The supply and demand of crop protection chemicals has never been as dynamic as we have experienced in recent years. Fundamentals such as commercial risk, currency movements, factory shutdowns due to pollution, drum supply and other production bottle-necks have added significant strain on continuity of supply.
Conquest's business model and strategy emphasises pragmatic & durable relationships between our respected 'sales agents' and their reseller customers. These relationships form the basis of trust to forecast product demand. Conquest then invests extensively in inventory ahead of the market to ensure our customers receive their requirements in a timely manner. Our relationships also allow us to be flexible, react to shifts in supply & demand and communicate to achieve pragmatic solutions wherever possible.
At Conquest we see continuity of supply as critical to evolving in the current market and linking our supply chain to our customers' purchasing strategy. Quality relationships and communication are an essential component of success in this process.
Conquest is extremely proud of the consistent quality of its product range offered to resellers across Australia. We are equally proud of the technical expertise and support that backs up the Conquest brand.
Conquest's product specifications are developed for Australia's unique environmental conditions and use patterns. Typically these conditions include parameters such as temperature, humidity, soil moisture, water quality or tank mix-partner. These are all significant variables that will expose a formulation that was simply "tested as chemically stable" in a sterile laboratory, far away from its point of sale or field use. Resellers and farmers can be confident that all Conquest Crop Protection products are fully tested in the field before being commercially released into the market.
At Conquest we pride ourselves on providing the very best customer service and technical support to all our reseller customers and their farmer clients.
Success is not only measured via financial statements. We are dedicated to investing in strong long-term business relationships that will yield benefits long after the crop has been harvested.
Our customer relationships motivate us to supply high quality products and reliable, technically supported customer service. We believe that this will also help enhance reseller relationships with their farmer clients and allow Conquest to contribute to helping them grow their business.
Farming innovation is evolving daily, with new technologies improving the way we all gain the most from our cropping systems.
Conquest invests heavily every year developing and trialling our products so that growers will have confidence that they are using the best available formulation technologies. This emphasis has led to industry first products like Alpha Forte 250SC (high load alpha-cypermethrin formulated as a user friendly SC) , Soar Selective Herbicide (3 Mode of Action in drum tank-mix for hard to control weeds) and Dissolve DUO (Ammonium sulphate plus wetting agent)
